Introduction:

1 pair LEDoption Super Bright 18-SMD 3-Emitter 5050 chips 7440 LED light bulbs in Amber Yellow, Ultra Blue, Xenon White or Brilliant Red.

The LED light bulbs use the highest quality Surface Mounting Technology SMD chips which will produce a super bright and pure color. High quality is our promise.

The 7440 LED light bulbs will also replace the follow: 7440, 7441, 7443, 7444, 992A light bulbs for turn signal lights, backup reverse lights, tail lights, brake lights, etc.

Please note: if you install these LED light bulbs for turn signal light, you might encounter hyper flashing or even malfunctioning issue, to solve this problem, you can add a pair 50W 6Ohm load resistors.

Not great, but they do flash. June 23, 2010

They work, they flash, the color is there, but there are many shortcomings.

The socket build quality is poor and simply did not lock into the housing, leading to a loose fit. This meant that I had to mess with the metal contact points and use electrical tape to ensure that they won't pop out or come loose while driving... risky for a turn signal light. This also roughly doubled the install time as I'm working in a confined engine bay on the 2006 miata.

They are overpriced compared to competitors selling 27 count signal lights for a similar price. If I had to do it again I would spend a few bucks more and get 27 count lights with 5 rear firing LEDs (hopefully with a better socket fit too).
